Vintage Whalen Bookcase Restoration

I found these two matched vintage Whalen bookcases at a thrift shop resale store. They were in bad shape with lots of dings and scratches, and what looked like a dog had been scratching on the bottom of one of them. The store was selling them for $25 ea. I bought them and brought them home before I even looked them up. Turns out they are worth about a grand a piece in good shape. I sanded them down and re-stained them and you truly can’t tell there was ever anything wrong with them. Win!
